Louis Van der Linden
Born in Belgium on February 17, 1994, Louis Van der Linden is a versatile drummer known for his mastery of a wide range of styles — from surf rock, pop to progressive and technical metal to blues, soul and funk.
Louis began playing drums at the age of 10. His passion and dedication quickly became apparent, leading him to formal training at MuDA Art School at 14, where he studied under Isolde Lasoen, among others. At 18, he was accepted into the KASK & Conservatory of Music, where he further honed his craft with mentors Wouter Van Tornhout and Karel De Backer.
Driven by a constant desire to grow, Louis continued his education even after earning his Master of Arts degree in 2018, studying privately with renowned drummers Bruce Becker and Sebastian Lanser.
Over the years, Louis has been actively involved in numerous projects, both live and in the studio. His work has taken him across Europe and the UK, performing as both a core band member and a sought-after session drummer.
Currently, he is involved in several bands, including Aeveris, Humanga Danga and BROOKS. Outside of music, Louis enjoys practicing as much as he can, reading, and staying active through fitness.

For remote recordings, I use my own professional recording setup. First, I’ll program the drum parts according to your vision and revise them until you're fully satisfied. Then, I’ll record the live drums, replicating the programmed parts with precision. You’ll receive fully edited multitrack recordings, ready for mixing.
